Feeling relatively quiet since getting back home. After the excitements of Cali, this isn't a bad thing. I was amused, in hindsight, at Thursday morning: I had spent the night at B&Dave's place and B drove me to the train for work Thursday morning. Dave managed to wake up and even shower early enough to eat breakfast with me. He was clearly a bit out of it. It was low-key and nice. I felt only one moment of tension when there was a weird blip in the conversation: Dave said something, B said very pointedly "This is a reality check for you: is that a wise thing?", which sounded to me like something from their therapy. I wanted to totally disappear. However, it turns out that B thought he was referring to a previous conversation and she ended up walking away and abandoning the not-conversation altogether.
Next week, Arisia. I'm looking forward to it. I'm getting my bro to mail me a very cool article of clothing I'll wear at some point. For the masquerade ball Saturday night, what are "hall costumes" and/or the International Costumers' Guild class system and guidelines? (I could do a Google search, true...) I might not get to do my mask, and if not, then I'll find some other place to go and be dressed up!
Sleep is good. I should try to do it on a more consistent basis.
I wish not eating didn't have the consequences it does. Eating gets annoying sometimes. Meh.
Wonder what I'll look forward to once Arisia is done. I think I need something to look forward to, be it a weekend w/friends or a trip somewhere. We'll see.
